My eyes look up into restricted sky,
While Sleep who saunters with a scornful smile
Waits patiently. I too hold my breath and pry
Open the door, to see, a dreamer's isle.
All in one mind, they circle around me,
Creatures of color, lives that die on a page,
We speak of worlds; they bloom from the same tree
Branch. I have cured the sickened bud, my rage.
But I have tarried too long, hidden here,
For Time now pounds the door with Sleep in tow.
As their persistent echoes draw me near,
My eyes abandon sight, my mind will know
New tales; their forms that will thrive in dark ink,
While old ones perch, wings wide on Change'
A Score Never Settled
Wrapped around the maple tree
I curl my furry being
Nose twitching, eyes flickering,
Taste the tempting scent of pine and sap
With a delicate mixture of earth and flowers
Hunker down below the brambles,
Wait until the time is right,
Bark makes my quivering skin itch,
I silently, patiently, achingly crouch
My ears prick forward at the clicking of claws
As the frosty breeze gathers up my fur,
I hear a soft whistle in the wind,
My mind distracted, I stand to attention,
My little prey leaps from the low hanging branch,
Onto my -oh so attentive- long white muzzle
My mind in a daze, my eyes blink twice,

Last Day at Home
I could hardly focus on anything, my mind was buzzing with new information, new rules, new lifestyle. We even went into a dark alley to practice some skills to protect myself. Damon, yes my teacher finally told me his name, tells me that I will understand these in time, but I really don't believe him seeing as I won't remember any of it!
As we weaved through the busy streets of Daath, I took in the beautiful city as it looked in the daytime, hectic yet melodic. There was a certain tune everyone seemed to follow, moving about with ease, either arguing over overpriced clothes or discussing what spices would best complete a

A Pleasant Stroll:
I hurried down the long corridors of the cathedral, the gray stone walls lit with candles. As I pranced past the different priests I made certain to call out a greeting, to which they turned and stared wonderingly at me. But nothing could stop me, a feeling of excitement built within my breast this morning: I would finally leave this city and do something different for once!
Suddenly, a young man slammed headlong into me, dozens of books flew across the corridor and lay sprawled about us.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't see-" I looked up to first notice a gold symbol on his robe, making him an Oracle Rune of the Order of Lorel
Tiger-Eyes
Moistened mirrors of gold,
I see your warm melodic smile,
Pure and polished as your mouth,
A glistening droplet rolling,
Under and below.
Your bloated belly a cathedral,
Murmur and move your inner chimes,
Heave your heavenly heart,
Please, allow my hand passage,
Forgive my reverent fingers,
They are feathers on fluffed snow.
Ack! Snap, spit, snarl,
Vipers fangs dig vehemently
Into now punctured plump flesh,
I curse, throbbing pain bounds up,
Heartbeat as fast as your betrayal,
Only, the bite deepens, I gasp
Tiger-eyes are cracked, broken
With anger and age,
An active fire still rages in you, I see,
Ah, t

A Mag. For. for a Brave Hunter
A Magical Forest for a Brave Hunter
The leaves shiver on the forest floor,
Their fall colors of red and gold carpet the sunlit undergrowth,
My blood is pounding in my veins,
As I creep like a snake along the dangerous terrain.
A rustle in the dying ferns next to me,
Causes my heart to jump,
And the shrill chirping of nearby crickets,
Makes my tawny pelt stand on end.
Magical is this place,
It is wild and unreal,
Captivating and intense,
Full of excitement wonder and adventure!
My long tail twitches with anticipation,
As I crouch awaiting the sweet sound,
Of a fluttering robin flying low,
To land on a low-hanging branch.

Saw Avatar: The Last Airbender- oh dear, now I went there saying that I'd judge it on its own and not think about the critics. But honestly, they were abosolutely right. There was no character development, they pronounced A LOT of the names wrong, the plot itself was thrown all over the place and there were gaping plot holes. *sigh* the only character worth anything in that movie was Zuko primarily because he was the only one who had any back story and character development at all. They completely changed Aang or as they pronounced it awwng's character and he was no longer the fun loving kid, at one point he slams p
